LOS ANGELES – Two people were killed Friday after their vehicle drove off the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway and crashed into a tree near an unincorporated area of Athens. California Highway Patrol officers responded at 2:26 a.m. to the eastbound freeway and Normandie Avenue where they found the victims, according to CHP Officer Sergio Garcia.
