Los Angeles has opened three Local Assistance Centers, or LACS, for homeowners, renters, and business owners impacted by the early February storms.
Each center will serve as a one-stop where Angelenos “can ask questions and obtain information on recovery services and assistance available from government agencies and nonprofits,” a news release said.
Each of the centers will be open for one day, officials said.
Another atmospheric river storm is in SoCal’s future despite pleasant early weekend forecast
Angelenos can visit these locations to receive assistance:
South Los Angeles Sports Activity Center: 7020 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, California 90003, will be open on Friday from noon to 8 p.m.
Pan Pacific Senior Activity Center: 141 S. Gardner St., Los Angeles, California 90036, will open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The city also opened an LAC at the Mid-Valley Senior Citizen Center in Panorama City on Thursday.
