Southern California is just clearing up from another wet weekend but more rain is already in the forecast.
The region should see some sunshine and warmer weather Tuesday and Wednesday but clouds are likely to return Thursday morning.
“By Thursday evening there is rain back in the forecast and it looks like Friday is very active with rain and mountain snow,” KTLA Meteorologist Henry DiCarlo said.
The National Weather Service is also calling for a chance of thunderstorm activity on Friday.
The upcoming storm is not expected to be as strong as the one that brought between one and three inches of rain to much of Southern California over the Easter holiday weekend
Downtown Los Angeles received 2.10 inches over the past five days, the Weather Service reported . Chatsworth received 1.96 inches and Claremont 1.64 inches of rain. More than 4 inches fell in South Gate over the same period, according to the Weather Service.
