3 men sought in 2020 Norwalk Dollar Tree murder

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna urged the public to help in solving the murder of a Norwalk man in 2020.

Raul Cervantes Corona was shot and killed on Dec. 18, 2020.
It happened around 6:44 p.m. in the parking lot of a Dollar Tree on Rosecrans Ave ., according to Sheriff Luna.

“The shooter fled in a light gray colored Kia Forte that was waiting nearby,” he said.

The sheriff’s office is searching for three men in connection to the murder. One of the men was identified as JaMaree Boone, who deputies say is a person of interest in the murder. The other man, who deputies believe drove the getaway car, was spotted at a gas station. He has an Ace of Spades tattoo on his right hand.

Deputies also provided a sketch of the third man, who they believe shot Corona.

Sheriff Luna added that security footage showed customers driving in and around the area where the shooting occurred.

“We believe that there are people who witnessed this horrific incident and I believe that somebody knows something or they’ve heard something,” he said.
