A two-story commercial building in Downtown Los Angeles became the scene of a considerable blaze on Sunday evening. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that the fire at 1390 E. Newton Street was fully involved when crews arrived shortly before 8:00 P.M. This property, with a history of prior fires, once again succumbed to the flames, which required a defensive fight from firefighters.
