Major fast food chain offering SoCal first responders free meal to support wildfire response

CALIFORNIA – Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) announced that they are offering first responders a free meal starting September 17 through September 27 to support those fighting the wildfires in their communities.

Select participating Southern California KFC restaurants are offering a free $5 Taste of KFC Deal to first responders to thank them for their service to the community.

$5 Taste of KFC Deal

Options for the Taste of KFC Deal are:

KFC Chicken Nuggets: Eight chicken nuggets with KFC’s Original Recipe, Secret Recipe Fries and a choice of two sauces.

Famous Bowl with KFC Chicken Nuggets: Famous Bowls are mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and KFC’s chicken nuggets, layered together with gravy and topped with three shredded cheeses.

Two-Piece Drum & Thigh: Two pieces of fried chicken (drum and thigh), mashed potatoes and gravy and a buttery biscuit.

Participating locations

Law enforcement officers, emergency medical services members, such as EMTs or paramedics, fire service members, and members of the military engaged in relief efforts with a first responder ID can visit one of the select participating locations.
