One of the two individuals who died in a murder/Suicide in Val Verde last month has been identified.
Carlo Romo, 27 was identified as one of the victims killed, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Around 6:39 p.m. Sunday Sept. 22, emergency responders received reports of a shooting at a residence on the 28800 block of Paradise Road in Val Verde.
“When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced two male hispanic adults dead at the scene and transported a female hispanic adult to a local hospital. This incident appears to be domestic and the suspect and victims were related,” LASD Homicide Bureau officials said at the time of the incident.
The two individuals who died were father and son, according to officials.
As of Friday, Homicide Bureau officials have not confirmed who was the shooter.
The second deceased individual has not been released as of Friday afternoon.
