Car Left Burning After Street Takeover in Sepulveda Basin

SEPULVEDA BASIN, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (KNN) — Participants of an illegal street takeover left behind a burning car in the Sepulveda Basin area of Los Angeles early Saturday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 3:38 a.m. for a burning vehicle at the Burbank Boulevard and Woodley Avenue intersection.

Initially, firefighters faced a challenge accessing the vehicle due to the significant number of cars blocking the roadway.

The large crowd finally dispersed, and firefighters managed to access the vehicle. The flames were quickly knocked down.

Another car was found abandoned several feet away with a missing rear tire, possibly from burnouts. No injuries were reported.
