Here are PFF grades from the Gophers’ win over UCLA

The Minnesota Golden Gophers completed a SoCal sweep with a 21-17 win over the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night.

The win included a last-minute touchdown pass from Max Brosmer to Darius Taylor and Minnesota heads into the bye week with a 4-3 overall record.

With a week to self-scout, the Gophers will have time to see what worked and what didn’t work against the Bruins. But until then, here is a look at how Pro Football Focus viewed the game and which players were the highest-rated Gophers in the victory.

Offense

  • Max Brosmer 77.6
  • Daniel Jackson 75.1
  • Frank Bierman 73.6

Brosmer didn’t light up the stat sheet with 193 yards passing and two touchdowns but he was efficient and made good decisions. Brosmer completed 26-of-37 passes in the win and didn’t throw an interception, leading to a 76.7 passing grade on the night.

On a night where Darius Taylor was held to 30 yards on 16 carries and the offensive line struggled collectively, this was a huge bonus as Jackson led the team with 10 catches for 89 yards.
