A 25-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash with a sedan in the Westlake District, authorities said Saturday. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division were called at 11:46 p.m. Friday to the intersection of South Bixel Street and Wilshire Boulevard where they learned the 59-year-old driver of the sedan was traveling north on Bixel when he collided head-on with the motorcycle rider, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
