Dog dies, several displaced after Pasadena home burns to the ground

Several people were displaced after a house in Pasadena burned completely on Saturday, authorities confirmed.

The second-alarm fire, first reported by the Pasadena Fire Department at 1:46 p.m., was located at 1000 E. Bell Street, several blocks north of the 210 Freeway.

The fire impacted three addresses, according to the City of Pasadena. While it was eventually extinguished, the main house affected was a complete loss.

A dog was killed in the blaze, authorities confirmed. Several people were displaced from their homes, although none were injured.

No additional details were immediately made available. The cause of the fire was not immediately made clear.
