Police have taken a woman into custody after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in L.A.’s Arlington Heights neighborhood.
According to information later confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were called to the area of Washington Boulevard and 5 th Avenue just after 2:45 a.m. Tuesday on reports of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arriving, the officers located a man with stab wounds to his upper torso.
A man was seen in a car with what appeared to be blood on his face; it is not known if the incident occurred inside the vehicle.
He was taken to a hospital where his condition remains unknown as of 7:30 a.m.

News stringer service KNN captured the woman being taken into custody on the sidewalk near the car the man was observed sitting in. She was not immediately identified.
