Los Angeles County Offers $20,000 Reward for Information on Lynwood Mother’s Murder

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has established a $20,000 reward for information that could lead to directly apprehending and convicting those responsible for the September murder of Irene Gonzalez, as per a motion approved unanimously under Supervisor Janice Hahn’s direction. The incident, which claimed the life of the Lynwood resident, occurred on September 15, when Gonzalez was reportedly shot after briefly sitting in the passenger seat of a dark four-door sedan, as reported by the County of Los Angeles. She attempted to escape after the shooting but tragically collapsed and died at the scene.
