A man was hospitalized after being hit by a Foothill Transit bus late Friday night in Arcadia, authorities say.
According to a news release issued by the Arcadia Police Department, officers responded to the report of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian just after 11 p.m. on Live Oak Avenue east of Santa Anita Avenue.
“The man was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries,” APD stated.

His condition was not updated as of late Saturday morning.
The bus was not carrying any passengers, and the driver was not injured.
