‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ ‘After Midnight’ Cancel Tapings Due to Los Angeles Fires

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” has been canceled Wednesday night, because of the fires that have been raging throughout Los Angeles since Tuesday, Variety has confirmed. Kimmel’s Wednesday guests were slated to include Cynthia Erivo (“Wicked”), Brian Jordan Alvarez (“English Teacher”) and musical guest Victoria Canal. Should “JKL” also shut down on Thursday, guests currently lined up include Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”) and musical guest The Lumineers.

CBS has also canceled tapings for “After Midnight,” hosted by Taylor Tomlinson, for the remainder of the week due to the ongoing Los Angeles fires. The show, which tapes at the Paramount studio lot, will now air repeats on Wednesday and Thursday. (A rerun was already scheduled for Friday.) Wednesday’s episode of “After Midnight” was originally set to include comedians Heather McMahan and Zach Noe Towers, as well as actor-reality star Lisa Rinna. And Thursday’s episode was set to include comics Dustin Nickerson, Russell Howard and Aparna Nancherla.
