Palisades wildfires interactive map shows if your home has burned down in horror California blaze

New interactive maps outline the devastation brought by the deadly Los Angeles wildfires as the battle against the blaze stretched into its sixth day.

Firefighters have so far contained 14% of the deadly flames with a triumph in West Palisades, where officials say the blaze is now under control. Nevertheless, hundreds of thousands of displaced residents are still barred from re-entering the evacuation zones where their homes have likely been torched into rubble and ash .

Meteorologists forecast a period of harsh winds over the next three days that will likely spread the fires, which have so far killed 24 people, into new directions.

About 40,000 acres across LA’s richest neighborhoods have been swallowed by flames, including the residences of A-list celebrities and high-end restaurants. About 12,300 buildings and structures have been annihilated.
