Family shaken after intruders ransack Southern California home

A Chatsworth family is reeling after burglars ransacked their home while they were visiting a relative in the hospital earlier this week, getting away with cash, jewelry and a lifetime’s worth of sentimental keepsakes.

The unsettling April 21 ordeal unfolded at around 7:40 p.m. in the 22000 block of Kinzie Street, officials with the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA.
