Two Men Arrested for Burglary in Thousand Oaks, Suspects Caught with Stolen Property in Los Angeles

Early Thursday morning, two men, Benjamin Chloupek and Erik Robles, were caught and arrested following a burglary at a commercial location in Thousand Oaks, according to a report by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Valley Spring Drive and involved the theft of property from a business after the suspects had allegedly forced their way in.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office collaborated with Los Angeles Police Department officers to apprehend the suspects after locating the stolen vehicle in Los Angeles. The arrest was made around noon. The suspects were found in the same vehicle, a crucial piece to the crime.

Both suspects have been booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility with bail set at $300,000, facing charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime, as detailed in a media release prepared by Detective Daniel Tao.
