LOS ANGELES – A Latin music company consultant from West Hollywood pleaded guilty Friday to conspiring to do business with a Guadalajara- based concert promoter with ties to Mexican drug syndicates.
Luca Scalisi, 58, the last remaining defendant in the Del Entertainment criminal case, entered a plea in downtown Los Angeles to one federal count of conspiracy to transact in property of specially designated narcotics traffickers in violation of the Kingpin Act, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The Kingpin Act prevents people in the United States from conducting business with sanctioned persons and entities.
