Los Angeles was the scene of a violent machete attack that left one man dead and another injured in the early hours of Sunday morning. KTLA reported that the incident began with a call to LAPD at 12:17 a.m., with officers dispatched to the intersection near 11th Street and South Grand Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a man in his 60s with severe wounds from what seemed to be a machete strike.
The second attack was reported shortly thereafter, with another male victim around 35 years of age discovered at Broadway Street and Olympic Boulevard with similar injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the older victim succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, while the younger victim was in stable condition following transportation by paramedics, as noted by ABC7.
