“No Kings” Draws Record-Breaking Crowd to Culver City Protest

The “No Kings” rally at Culver City City Hall on June 14, 2025, part of a national movement to protest the unlawful actions of the federal government, drew an amazing crowd that organizers estimate at 10,000 people.

The rally was scheduled to begin at 11 am and last until 12:30 pm, but by 10 am the space in front of City Hall was already crowded with people carrying signs, sporting the “No Kings” logo, and many more original and creative slogans as well.

The protest grew exponentially over the next hour, with hundreds 0f people pouring down the sidewalks from the train station, filling in both sides of Culver Boulevard and the median as well. Cars that drove through often honked and cheered along with the rally. By noon, the crowd has swelled to fill the intersection of Culver and Duquesne, with people dancing in the street all the way down to Madison…
