License plate reader alert leads to arrests in Beverly Hills

The Beverly Hills Police Department arrested four suspects wanted for a Huntington Park robbery after receiving an alert via the department’s Automated License Plate Reader cameras on June 24.

BHPD received the alert at approximately 1 p.m. and officers quickly located the vehicle within Beverly Hills city limits. When officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, the suspects failed to yield, prompting a pursuit. The suspects’ vehicle eventually became disabled near the intersection of Beverly and Rexford drives. Four occupants then fled on foot.
