2 taco vendors robbed by pair of armed suspects who took cash, jewelry: police

A pair of suspects got away with cash and jewelry after robbing two taco vendors in Highland Park overnight, police say.

Per a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a robbery report on York Boulevard and Avenue 53 just before 11:45 p.m. Sunday.

“Preliminary information indicates two armed male suspects took currency and jewelry from employees of a taco truck,” the spokesperson told KTLA. “The suspects were gone when officers arrived.”

Reports of an alleged second robbery victim came in shortly after about two blocks away; however, LAPD could not confirm much information surrounding this victim, only that they were robbed at what appears to be a different establishment a short distance away from the first truck that was targeted…
