Woman Throws Tantrum After Rear-Ending Metro Vehicle in Historic South-Central Los Angeles

HISTORIC SOUTH-CENTRAL LOS ANGELES, July 18 (KNN) – A woman is in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department after crashing her car into a Metro Rail service vehicle at the intersection of Flower Street and Washington Boulevard early Monday morning.

Metro Transit Security was already on the scene for an unrelated incident when the crash occurred. The woman became combative and threw a tantrum, prompting security personnel to detain her.

LAPD Central Division officers arrived shortly after and took the woman into custody. She was then transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.

Two other female occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but it is unclear whether they were injured…
