A shark sighting temporarily closed a portion of Redondo Beach Monday evening.
“A beach closure is in effect due to a confirmed shark sighting exhibiting aggressive behavior just south of the Redondo Pier,” Los Angeles County Lifeguards posted on Facebook.
The post did not provide any further details regarding why the shark’s actions were considered aggressive.
