An elderly woman is dead and another person was injured after an impaired driver careened into a house in Downey overnight, police say.
The Downey Police Department put out a press release just before 7 a.m. Saturday stating that officers were called to the 9500 block of Gallatin Road around 2:20 a.m. after a traffic collision was reported.
First responders rushed to the area to find the vehicle involved almost completely inside the home. One person who was inside, a 73-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene…
