One person was killed and two others were hospitalized after a Vermont Knolls shooting on Saturday night, authorities confirmed.
LAPD said officers responded to the 600 block of West 80th Street around 9:30 p.m. for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon shooting. They arrived to find three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Paramedics responded to treat the victims and pronounced a 35-year-old man dead at the scene.
