LOS ANGELES — California Highway Patrol officers remain on full deployment Monday as part of the agency’s annual Labor Day weekend crackdown on drunken and drug-impaired driving.
The “maximum enforcement period,” which began Friday evening, runs through 11:59 p.m. Monday. All available officers are on duty patrolling highways across Los Angeles, Orange County and statewide.
