L.A. Likely to Face Federal Cuts to Housing and Homelessness Services

According to county authorities, Los Angeles is at risk of losing millions of dollars in federal funding meant for homelessness services. On Tuesday, during a report to the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, budget cuts arose as a concern.

In April, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to shift funding away from the Los Angeles Homeless Service Authority (LAHSA) and create a new county department committed to addressing the homelessness crisis.
