California Man Accused Of Using Dating App To Kill Two – Third Victim, Tortured, Escaped: DA

A 34-year-old California man, Rockim Prowell, is accused of killing two men he met on a dating app. He allegedly attempted to do the same with the third, but the tortured victim managed to escape.

According to a news release issued by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Prowell was charged in connection with the alleged murders on September 8. The release detailed that the incidents occurred years apart, beginning in 2021.

On July 20, 2021, Miguel Angel King, 51, met Prowell after interacting on a dating app, the release detailed. Prowell allegedly shot King to death and then stole his vehicle. The vehicle in question was subsequently found, and evidence found inside linked Prowell to the murder, the DA’s office alleged…
