Mayor Bass, police and fire chiefs honor 9/11 victims at remembrance ceremony in Elysian Park

A somber remembrance in Elysian Park on Thursday morning paid tribute to the 9/11 victims with a “10 bells” ceremony, a helicopter flyover and remarks from Los Angeles city leaders.

Since 2003, the ceremony at the Los Angeles Fire Department training facility has marked the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
