Six Suspects Arrested in Multi-County Jewelry Store Robbery Spree

All six suspects connected to a series of jewelry store robberies across Southern California have been taken into custody, with the final arrest made Tuesday in Lancaster.George Allen Diamond, 41, of Lancaster, was the last suspect apprehended in connection with the August 9 robbery of Don Roberto Jewelers in Palm Desert and more than 10 similar “smash-and-grab” style thefts targeting jewelry stores since May.The Palm Desert RobberyOn August 9, shortly after 2:10 p.m., four masked individuals entered the jewelry store in the 72800 block of Highway 111 armed with hammers.
