Los Angeles County’s belated tax deadline is coming up quickly. For taxes due for 2024, plus some payments for this year, Angelenos have until Oct. 15 to send those in.
Didn’t people file in April? Many residents still filed by the original Tax Day, but they technically didn’t have to. Angelenos got a rare break this year because of the January fires. It’s part of a process that’s kickstarted when a disaster is declared, which allows for a window of time to help people recoup tax records that may have been destroyed.
