A South Los Angeles mother is taking legal action against the Los Angeles Unified School District after her 5-year-old son with autism was hit by a car outside his school.
“They were supposed to keep my son safe, but they didn’t. They failed my child. They failed my child,” his mother, Catherine Garcia, said.
