Barger: County stepping up to fill gap as SNAP ruling issued

Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Kathryn Barger issued a statement saying the county will continue to “fill the gap” after Friday’s federal court order directing the U.S. Department of Agriculture to resume Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program funding amid the ongoing federal government shutdown.
