A Victorville woman was arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Kohl’s store in Alhambra, placing the items in her vehicle, and returning for a second attempt, authorities said.
According to the Alhambra Police Department, officers responded to the store following reports of a theft in progress. When they contacted the suspect, identified as Cheyla Ramirez of Victorville, inside the store, she began walking away while tossing items from her bag.
Police said Ramirez told officers she kept walking because she “didn’t want to go to jail.”…
