On the night of October 30, 2025, around 10:35 p.m., the two pedestrians were struck while attempting to cross Foothill Boulevard just north of Kagel Canyon Street. The involved vehicle, identified as a red 2005 Honda Accord coupe, did not stop to aid the victims, a breach of legal duty.
Local first responders declared the 46-year-old female victim dead at the scene.
