West Hollywood saw an overall 10% drop in reported crime in October 2025 compared to the same month last year, according to the latest report from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station.
The monthly data shows 168 Part 1 crimes in October, down from 187 in October 2024, though the report highlights some troubling trends — including a rise in burglaries and robberies, and persistent theft activity across the city’s nightlife-heavy Westside.
There were 13 robberies reported in October, up from 5 in September. Burglaries also rose to 36 incidents, a notable spike that included multiple break-ins at secure garages and mailrooms.
