Authorities Strive to Continue Housing Homeless Veterans as Numbers Tick Up

LOS ANGELES – Following a major decrease last year, veteran homelessness in Los Angeles County rose 2% in 2025.

Authorities noted that last year’s drop of just over 20% was largely due to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs permanently housing nearly 2,000 individuals.
