The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank on Tuesday hosted a drive-thru distribution event in Exposition Park, attracting thousands in vehicles who formed long lines that wrapped around the block.
The three-hour event began at 9 a.m. and was expected to feed about 2,200 families.
