A white SUV hydroplaned on Interstate 5 northbound of Magic Mountain Parkway and hit a big rig’s saddle tank causing it to leak its diesel onto the freeway on Sunday morning, according to an official with the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office.
All lanes are open as of 2:25 p.m., according to Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez, public information officer with the CHP.
