Los Angeles Firefighters Tame Tarzana Condo Blaze in Under 30 Minutes; No Injuries Reported

Early this morning, Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire at 18150 W Oxnard Street in Tarzana. The LAFD alert reported that the blaze broke out in a split-level condominium, with heavy smoke and fire visible on the second and third floors of a unit within a seven-unit building.

Firefighters were in offensive mode as they approached the fire, according to initial reports. It took approximately 28 minutes for the 44 responding firefighters to achieve a knockdown of the multi-level blaze. An update from the LAFD confirmed that all occupants were able to exit the building safely, with the assistance of firefighters.
