SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol Inland Division Investigative Services Unit (ISU), coupled with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), has been working a multi-month investigation to disrupt a major methamphetamine trafficking operation. This methamphetamine trafficking operation has affected both San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties.
As a result of the investigative work, a CHP Inland Division K-9 Officer along with CHP Officers from the Inland Division Crime Suppression Team, conducted traffic enforcement stops on multiple vehicles. The traffic enforcement stops resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,500 pounds of methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately 100 million dollars. Multiple suspects were arrested and booked in county jail.
