A 17-year-old boy died following a Wednesday night fireworks explosion in South Los Angeles, according to police.
Officers were called to the 400 block of E. 84th Place after learning of the explosion around 9:30 p.m., Los Angeles police told CBS LA. The teen’s parents called 911, and he was taken to a hospital after suffering a fireworks injury, but later died.
The teenager has not yet been identified, and it is unclear whether there were any other injuries associated with the incident…
