The Flowerpark Incident has been on fire watch since Saturday evening due to a potential rekindling of flames, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire was reported at around 1:06 p.m. on the 29100 block of Flowerpark Drive in Canyon Country on Saturday, according to Capt. Brian Kight with the Fire Department.
Kight said that upon arrival the roof had already collapsed, and firefighters initiated a “surround-and-drown” method to extinguish the fire.
