MONTEREY PARK (CNS) – Sheriff’s investigators Tuesday touted a $60,000 reward in hopes of encouraging people to come forward with information leading to the person or people responsible for the killings of two men in Compton four years ago.
Javier Menchaca, 19, and Juan Orozco, 22, were fatally shot just before 1 a.m. Nov.14, 2021, while they were seated inside Menchaca’ s vehicle during an illegal street race/takeover event near 1940 N. Bullis Road and Pine Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene…
