LUCERNE VALLEY — FBI agents say they stopped four people as they started to build pipe bombs in Lucerne Valley Friday, Dec. 12, for a test run of a string of New Year’s Eve explosions in Southern California.
The four people arrested by the FBI Friday were unloading chemical explosion ingredients, PVC pipes and fuses from their cars and beginning to assemble them when agents intervened, a criminal complaint by FBI agent Carolyn Thompson states.
The federal government has not specified where in Lucerne Valley the arrests happened…
