In a coordinated effort stretching over two states, the U.S. Marshals Service successfully apprehended a Tennessee man wanted for attempted murder in California. The suspect, Dureico McKinnie, 36, was arrested on December 15, 2025, in Inglewood after fleeing a crime scene in Jackson, Tennessee. According to a press release by the U.S. Marshals, McKinnie was located at a residence in the 500 block of Edgewood Street following an investigation into a shooting that had taken place on October 26.
The incident that led to McKinnie’s nationwide pursuit occurred at The Family Fun Center on Bowling Drive in Jackson, with two individuals sustaining injuries from gunfire. The manhunt was a combined effort of the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) and the USMS Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, which worked diligently to track down McKinnie’s whereabouts. The TRVFTF includes members from various law enforcement agencies within Tennessee, such as Deputy U.S. Marshals and officers from local police departments, and has a track record of capturing over 3,000 violent offenders and sexual predators since 2021…
