California residents are preparing for a second wave of life-threatening floods as mudslides engulf homes on Christmas Day.
The holidays are expected to be a washout for California this year, as meteorologists warn that up to eight inches of rain is forecast to hit several areas, including Los Angeles County and Santa Barbara, over the next few days. State officials have warned travelers to avoid roads, which have continued to flood.
