Hours of heavy rain sent mud and debris rushing down a hillside at a residential construction site in Sherman Oaks on Thursday, raising renewed concerns about mudslides as another storm approaches Southern California.
The mudflow happened along the 3900 block of Pacheco Drive near Cody Road, where video shows thick mud pouring down a slope and filling the area alongside a home below. Neighbors say the hillside is prone to slides, especially during prolonged rainfall.
